A Feminist Sanctuary
Palm Court was more than a renovation; it was a rebirth. The brief was to take an aging structure and transform it into a luxurious, high-spirited haven for a single mother and her three daughters. The goal was to create a "feminist home"—a space that celebrates independence, joy, and the unique bond of four women, wrapped in a bold, retro-chic aesthetic.
The Design Narrative: Breaking Walls, Building Dreams
To give this family the luxury they deserved, we started from scratch. We demolished the internal walls of the original house, clearing the slate to create an expansive, open-concept "canvas" that prioritizes flow, light, and togetherness.
The Aesthetic: Retro Soul & Pastel Perfection
This home unapologetically embraces color and texture. Moving away from the muted trends of today, we leaned into a vibrant, maximalist palette that reflects the family's energy.
The Pastel Revolution: We layered soft mints, blush pinks, and lavender against high-contrast patterns, creating a space that feels both nostalgic and fashion-forward.
A Love Affair with Light: Recognizing the client’s passion for statement lighting, we curated a collection of ornate chandeliers and vintage-inspired lamps. Each fixture serves as a "jewelry piece" for the room, casting a warm, luxurious glow.
Patterns & Personality: From geometric floors to botanical wallpapers, we used bold patterns to define different zones within the open floor plan, ensuring every corner has a story to tell.
The "God" Home: We integrated a specialized "God" home, keeping it intimate and beautifully detailed to ensure that tradition has a dedicated, stylish place within the modern luxury of the home.
The Result
Palm Court is a masterclass in transformative design. It proves that a "luxury home" doesn't have to be beige or formal—it can be a riot of color, a collection of memories, and a fearless expression of womanhood.
